Just announced: Ken Griffey Jr. is out of the starting lineup for tonight’s game between the Cincinatti Reds and Philadelphia Phillies with a tweaked knee.

It is unclear whether Junior will be available to pinch hit.

The future Hall of Famer is on the verge of hitting 600 career home runs. His absence from tonight’s lineup will leave a lot of fans disappointed, as Citizen’s Bank Park will be packed with many eager for a chance at history. Perhaps a pinch hit home run is order?

Stay tuned to HS Philly for the latest.
