		<description>i know nothing about the prospects, but at first glance, this seems like a great deal for the Phillies.  I'm not sure what's wrong with Blanton this year - I haven't seen nearly enough of him - but I've seen enough of Blanton throughout his career to know that he's a young, hard-throwing work horse.  The big losers here are Oakland, who were asking far more for Blanton in the offseason, and ended up having to settle.  Then again, Oakland never seems to come out on the short end of a deal, so I wouldn't be surprised to see all three of these prospects contributing with the A's in '09.</description>
