I really like the Eagles chances this week against Bye Week.

Brian Westbrook, Shawn Andrews, Kevin Curtis, and Reggie Brown are all healthy enough to compete.

Quarterback Donovan McNabb should have nothing to be embarassed about. I don’t see any momentum squashing interceptions or weak late game drives to worry about. I think McNabb and the offense will have as good a second half this week as their opponent, if not better.

I am confident we have nothing to worry about from DeSean Jackson in terms of rookie mistakes or overconfident endzone mishaps. This week he knows what’s at stake. He knows he has to have his head in the game and that mistakes will not be tolerated. I will go out on a limb here and predict that Jackson wins the game for the Eagles.

Eagles fans won’t have to worry about having to buy a new television after they threw their dip bowl or small dog through it in frustration over coach Andy Reid’s mind numbing playcalling. The coach is on his game this week. There will be no fourth quarter collapses, stupid trick plays, or 24 straight passplays. Sunday’s postgame press conference will be the liveliest of his 10 year career in Philadelphia. It will be full of detailed responses to tough questions. Reid will not take the blame for anything and will in fact joke around with the media, much like he did in an interview on Mike and Mike In The Morning earlier this season.

I feel more confident about this week’s game than I have for any game yet this year. Not even the Eagles can lose to Bye Week. But if they do, I’m moving to Cleveland.
