So, I joined my first Fantasy Football league and I am the only girl out of 12 people. The draft was pretty exciting as I had the 4th pick – and I picked up Joseph Addai. Great pick, right? Well, that’s what I thought until last night when he got me less than 5 points! I know, it’s Week 1 and I’m sure things will turn around – but come on, 5 points! I had Jerious Norwood on the bench and he racked up close to 16 points! I should have gone with my intuition and started him. I’m sure if I start him next week and put Laurence Maroney on the bench he’ll play miserably. It’s a good thing I have Tony Romo – at least he’s a sure thing. Well, that’s what my husband thought about Tom Brady too – but we all know how that went down! I think it’s safe to say that there are thousands of people who aren’t real thrilled …

By default, I enjoy baseball because my husband lives and breathes baseball. I love the passion that my husband has for the game – at times it’s a little excessive but I’m learning to accept this is the person that I married and he could be obsessed with far worse things (crack, hookers, gambling, porn, etc…). Don’t get me wrong, I still get furious when he checks the score of the game on his phone while we’re eating dinner or while he texts his friends who are at the game while we’re watching it on TV.
I’m learning to sit through an entire game without getting “too” bored. In the past, I would go to a game and leave around the 6th or 7th inning. Well, now I go to the game with my husband and we get there two hours before it starts (gates aren’t even open yet) and stay until the last player has walked off of …
